Not sure if you got your answer yet but... Just like you "export" your information by "Saving to" x: hard drive You're going to want to "Import" your information by "Saving to" OR "Transfer Files" to the desktop. Hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In all likelyhood, as even if your laptop drive was full to the max, unless you run linux, Windows probably takes up a large chunk of your current drive. Other installed programs would not copyeither, unless you clone the drive, which is an alltogeher differentprocess thsn copying and backing up files.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First of all, the HD says it is 1TB, but the actual available space is about 100Mb less. Taken that into account, make the figure and see if all your drive contents would FIT. But asides from fitting in, I would want to decide wether you want to just BACK-UP your data or make a disc to act as a clone of your original. For data, just do the arithmetics, select the files you wish to protect, right-click on them and COPY, then PASTE on the HD But if you want something like a MIRROR image of it, you will need a dedicated software to do it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The hard drive itself will contain some date you can not erase giving you sightly less then 1TB of Memory. As long as your complete desk top is less then that it will work just fine.
