• Sometimes the USB jack on the TV is just for servicing. If you connect it up an can select the USB Port as the channel you should be able to access the files if it is in a compatible format! Not All TV's can view all picture format's.

• What you need to do is look if your tv has a USB port or entrance to connect your USB passport and after that just follow the instructions on your tv. I don’t know if all TVs are the same to comand you what to do with external drives but smart TVs can and some do it automatically
