“Can I use this to pull photos/videos from my iphone?”

• I copy iPhone photos and videos onto my laptop’s hard drive. Then I can save the photos and videos onto the Passport. I copy the files from the laptop hard drive onto the Passport. I don’t know of a way to transfer files directly from a phone to Passport.

• These hard drives require a USB connection if you have a USB connection the you probably can, check with a Geek I believe they do have adaptors

• I don't think so Carol, at least not on this specific hard drive, I know there are some for iPhone only, that allow you to transfer files directly from the phone to the drive w/o a pc/mac.
