I use a shared computer, and I found this passport box plugged into it, would it be interfering with my ability to log on? If so, can I unplug it, proceed with my business, and plug it back in without any interference to the other users business?? null

Usually the external drives have no affect on the start-up or login to a computer. Sometime if the drive is protected with the software on it , It may be password protected and won't allow opening without the proper password.

The easiest thing is to keep it plugged in. It won't get in the way of logging in or out. Just be sure when you save files that they're not being saved to the Passport external drive, as it belongs to someone else who might accidentally walk away with your files.

This will have no bearing on your login. When it's connected, it is simply seen as another hard drive on your PC - just for storage only.
