Contact Western Digital for this information, or check their support section of their web site. I believe you are asking for proprietary information. Please note, this is HARDWARE encryption. Just curious, but why are you asking about where WD stores their keys? That sounds like someone is looking into a security threat as opposed to protecting their data.
