• Yes but depending on what file format your format it with, u might not be able to write on it using or Mac, only read. Mine is formatted NFTS and works on both but limited use on Mac. Of course you can also format it specifically for Mac or pc and only use it on one.

• I use this hard drive with my Mac. The file system is different for Mac and Windows, but the documents should be transferable between devices.
