Should work as long as the antenna is placed where there is at least a week signal source
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You need to have an external antenna...from that you run coax cable to the box which in your case will be in the basement. The box plugs into a wall socket and has the coax cable from the external antenna as inputs and a smaller coax cable to the internal antenna as output. Good luck.

Please try again later.Does not need to be connected to anything other than 110 V outlet, it comes with cable that has to be connected to the booster, has an indoor antenna and an outside antenna. The coverage depends on where it is located. Don't know if it is in the basement if it would boost the signal upstairs. The Best Buy people are good, I had several on line chats with Weboost and they suggested the model I got based on my signal strength and the area I needed to cover.
