• The codes are always valid for whatever time frame they are rated for (1/2/3 years etc.) You will have to use the new code, they won't add on to your remaining time in the console.

• It seems like you're asking if you can use a purchased key code months after the purchase? If that's your question, then the answer is yes. A code is not activated until you put it in the software and shouldn't have an expiration date.
