Yes. It has a ground wire. I screwed it into the back of the box.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No it does not however, if your ground wire (from the wall) is available, you can connect it to the wemo’s green wire and call it a day. If your ground wire (from the wall) is not available, cap off the wemo’s green / ground wire and call it a day. These wemo switches can operate without being connected to a ground wire. I have two wemo switches, one connected to a ground and one is not; both work flawlessly. I hope this works for you.
