That is exactly what I am doing with the switch. Trick - if you are using iOS to set it up and are fighting the application finding the switch. Everything you read says make sure your phone is on the 2.4 GHz network which is hard to do with some routers. When the switch is installed and you have the power back on. Go to the network settings on your phone and you will see the switch. Connect your phone to the switches network and then the reset of the setup is pretty easy.
