This model is a "Smart" tv. The other model you referenced is essentially the same tv without the wifi connectivity and preinstalled apps (Weather, Netflix, Pandora, VUDU, and some kids educational something. I picked up the TV last night and haven't had much time to give it a complete run through yet.
