• 22" is the height of the top shelf. The post is 48" high, and the top of the monitor bracket is 55.75" from the floor.

• The center shaft by itself (not including the given mounting hardware) is about 46-48” tall total. But if you don’t wish to use the shaft it does part in half and the height tops out at the height of the top shelf, which is that 22” height in the specifications. In my photo I decided to leave the full stem up for cable management, I currently have a 55” tv on the stand and the stem is just barely hidden behind the top of the tv.
