• The TV Stand has several different size screws that comes with it. Probably so it can mount any brand of tv. So it would probably work with your 55" samsung.

• I mounted a 65 in samsung, but i had to purchase a wall mount screw kit from Walmart because the screws that came with the stand didn't have the right length screws.
