• Height of the shelves (bottom and middle) is 8.78".

• yes it should fit just I measured and its 10'' that is of course from top/bottom of the glass to the top middle glass then you have the metal frame witch is about 2''... it might fit perfect or you might have to put the speaker in first then the glass on top... hope you enjoy it! It's a very good tv stand.
