I saw the picture you are referring to and it does make it look like the glass shelf is warped by weight. But I checked this out in-store and the shelves are heavy, tempered glass at least 1/4" thick. I believe the specs stated it could hold up to 125 lbs as the limit. However, that picture is definitely showing an illusion of warping.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It may be the picture giving that illusion. The Bottom Glass shelf however does curve on the front and it is tested to hold approximately 50lbs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That is just an illusion, the stand is sturdy. I bought this same stand at Walmart for my mom and can tell you that the glass is supported. The metal you see under the glass is square tubing that is holding the glass on all four sides. There are small rubber bumpers that are at each corner and there is a lip the glass rests on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The bottom shelf is curved as are the other shelves. Middle depth is 18" and side depth is 17". It is a very heavy and sturdy TV stand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.all three have a slight curve on the front which is a nice touch
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The bottom shelf of the Whalen Furniture 3-in-1 Console is not curved and is engineered to handle the weight of the product.
