• Correct! The 4 screws are already snuggly attached to television, just remove and replace after having lined holes up with mounting holes on stand and or wall mount.

• Hi Plop. It should be just four screws holding the monitor brackets onto the TV. To make sure, review the operating manual for your television or contact the TV manufacturer.
