QuestionOur newly acquired low profile microwave blew the interior light bulb ? Where is it ? Lowes ( we purchased it there ) doesn't know either and they probably don't have the bulb or so they say ? Disappointed that it blew that quickly....

QuestionWHY is the tone when cooking done so faint? Must put ear right up to door to hear tone. No volume control (should not need) Is there a fix?

- Answer The volume must be set low, check your manual to increase the sound. I think I the instructions are click on clock on the inside keypad, then keep pressing “clock” function until you reach the keypad sound option and increase it there.

QuestionWhy do the instructions say that the bottom of the mounting plate must be 17 3/4" from the bottom of the upper cabinet when the product is only 10 5/16" in height? I don't have that much clearance due to a high backsplash and this will determine if it fit

QuestionDoes the top of the microwave that protrudes past the cabinet come with some sort of cover? Its raw and exposed- doesn't really match the rest of the microwave and if your not installing it super high it's very noticable.

- Answer Just bought this microwave and installed it ourselves. All vents are on top of the microwave. You can change the placement of air flow by moving the top panels around (front half of the top or back half of the top). The microwave comes with the back half covered, this would mean that the microwave recirculates air upwards but should clear the front of the cabinets; so air would blow up pass the cabinet doors. We switched the panels to allow airflow up the back half of the microwave closer to the wall, still upwards towards the cabinet but through our air duct.

QuestionI have noticed that the over the range bulb is a single halogen and it gets really hot after a short amount of time. If I find an led variant, would it harm anything if I change it to led?

- Answer I’m sorry I just got my over the range micro and have not used it long enough to know if it gets hot. Although I have noticed my fan turns off in it’s own after a long tine running. Don’t know if that’s a feature or not?
