Q: QuestionWhirlpool owns Kitchenaid, and the Whirlpool - 1.1 Cu Ft Low Profile seems identical to the Kitchenaid 1.1 Cu Ft Low Profile. The Whirlpool exhaust fan is rated at 400 CFM and the Kitchenaid exhaust fan at 500 CFM. Can you explain the difference?

• A:Answer Willie, per page3 of the User Guide: Tones Open door, press and hold number keypad “4” for 5 seconds to disable button tones. Repeat to turn buttons tones back on. Q: QuestionThe volume on my YWML55011HS is too loud and I would. Like to turn it off. How do I do this? I have read that I push the clock button till I reach the correct setting but that doesn’t work. Can you send me the correct procedure. Thanks

• A:Answer Hi RC, for this Whirlpool - 1.1 Cu. Ft. Low Profile Over-the-Range Microwave Hood Combination Keypad tones and volume can be adjusted. Press CLOCK to reach the Sound submenu. 1. Button Tones On and Off: Press 1-On 2-Off 2. Volume: Press 1-Low, 2-Med, 3-High Pressing the Start keypad, pressing the CLOCK keypad will save.

Q: QuestionMy cabinet comes out 15 inches, which will cover most of the vents on the top of the microwave. Will this be a problem? If so, where can I find the bump out kit that is referenced in the instruction manual (Whirlpool part # W11185746)?
