It is convertable. Factory set to recirculation, but can be adjusted to either wall vent or roof vent

Yes it does just like any normal range top vent. It can vent out the top or back. It's changeable, just unscrew and rotate to which ever style you have.

Yes you can vent it to the outside either from behind or above the unit.

It has the capability do vent in or out. You just change where the blower air exits with a separate part that comes with the unit but not attached. Unit comes configured for internal venting. You still need to duct work inside the house ready to go.
