I just bought one and installed it. Microwave is quiet, but oven fan makes a very loud rattling noise. Is this normal? I love this microwave, but I really can't use the Convection part because that terrible noise coming from the convection fan . Any suggestions?

Our exhaust fan is very quiet , even on high. You may have a defective fan. Call geek squad, they can fix it for you.....hopefully under the manufacturer warranty.

Ours very quiet. We had to turn unit fan. If one of the mounting screws fell down inside that could be the noise. We almost did use magnetic screwdriver.

Mine isn't noisy. The convection is louder than the microwave but not rattling. Maybe somthing loose inside it. When covection cooking both fans run. If it is the exhaust fan noisy maybe somthing fell in there when it was installed.

The rattle must be an installation problem. If the fan exhausts outside then there would be a metal flip/valve that might be bent or poorly installed. I have the same model and there is no rattle.. I installed it myself.
