A:AnswerHi DavidDenver, please contact your local Best Buy for more information regarding mounting hardware. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Whirlpool appliances!
A:AnswerMy unit is about 19" above the stove top. In my opinion it is individual preterence, as well as the overall height of the people using it... I had to have the cabinets above the unit cut down to get the 19" above the stove, to me, around 19 to 20 inches above the stove is the perfect distance. As I said though, it depends on how tall you are... meaning if you are 4 foot 10 inches tall, you might need a step stool.
13.5" above the stove is too close to the range, the filter could get gunked up being that close.

A:AnswerI felt the same way after having mine installed. I bought the newest version of the microwave I had previously, which had 2 lights on it . One to the right and one to left. This model is in the middle but close to the wall. I would check with the Geek squad. I have actually gotten used to it Good Luck!
A:AnswerHi sheabird, on this Whirlpool - 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave, the settings for the vent fan can be changed. They can be changed using the settings for High (“SPd2”), low (“SPd1”) and off. However, the Vent fan comes on automatically as cooling fan during any cook function. Thank you for your question!
A:AnswerI bought a new one 7 years after this post and still no grill at the top front of the microwave! I thought I left the part in the package and looked up for it all over the place. It's a big house things can fall into it on the top shelf. Hello whirlpool designers pay attention to the feedback
