The signal is a four-note ascending tone that plays a total of three times in succession when the cooking cycle is complete. If the door is not opened or stop button pressed, the four-note ascending tone plays once as a reminder at five minutes after and ten minutes after.

3 chimes once done. 
Audio tone is low and pleasant , one good thing is that if the food is not warm it will continue on its own. This is why i purchased it.
I had the more expensive model last year which quit in 1 1/2 years.

some features i din not use any like the remote or Bluetooth cooking. 
the more digital you go, the more problems. i hope this helps.

The microwave comes with a chime that rings 12 times. It is annoying so I shut it off. It is not really needed.
