“We just purchased this microwave. The instruction manual has different measurements than the wall template. Template has measurements of 15 5/8”, 17 1/3”, 14 1/6”. Manual is 15 3/4, 17 1/4, 14 1/8. Which is right? This is a quality control issue.”

I chatted with Whirlpool customer service about this very question. Their answer was essentially, "We don't have an answer. Find a professional installer." This was disappointing. Based on the JustPurchased response, I'm leaning to relying on the manual.
