I replace my 20 year old Wirlpool Gold Microwave and was not able to use the same mounting bracket. One hole on top worked but I had to drill the second hole. The bracket with the new micro is much thinner metal then the old one so I advise extra screws into wall and use drywall anchors were there is no studs or the bracket bows and bends when installing.

Hi DonnEd. Both models use mounting plate part number W11025649 so you can use the one you already have.

Yes - we were able to mount using the bracket from the old one.
