• This microwave allows you to EITHER ventilate back into the kitchen OR ventilate out of the kitchen through a ventilation duct that you would need to install above the unit. Out-of-the box, the unit is set to ventilate back into the kitchen. However, there are clear instructions on how to modify the top of the unit so that the ventilation will re-direct into your exhaust ducting.

• Hi Steve, this particular microwave requires that you vent either out of the roof or the wall. It does not recirculate into the home.
