I see a button on the side of the ice storage bin but it doesn't seem to allow the bin to be opened. Do I just need to put more muscle into it? null

Yes, the installer told me that the button on the right side of the bin should be pushed to open the bin and to close it you push the door firmly back against the bin.

I haven't actually opened the ice bin yet, though!  Seems that if you're pushing firmly and it isn't opening you may want to call support.

Hello IceStorageBin, Remove the ice storage bin by inserting your fingers into the
hole at the base of the bin and squeezing the latch to release
the bin from the compartment. Lift the storage bin up and pull it
straight out.
