A:AnswerFrom the floor to the bottom of the door is 35 3/4” and there is part of the hinge on the outside bottom corner of the door that drops down 1/2”. So it’s 3/4 inch below your 36 inch countertop. I don’t know how high the adjusters on the bottom of the fridge will raise it. Adjusting them all the way out and possibly using some glides under the feet might get the height you need. Hope this helps.

Whirlpool can you guarantee that the process has changed and that the "black stainless" is not a FILM as I was only told after purchase.
