A:AnswerIt shouldn’t! A dishwasher doesn’t work off water pressure. Once the amount of water needed for a cycle the water is then pumped through the spinners. Any pressure needed to clean the dishes is generated by the dishwasher itself.
A:AnswerGood question EricaI. Your dishwasher can average 2-3 hours per load, but uses nearly 40% less energy than older models. The average length of time for a normal cycle can be anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours. As your dishwasher may be equipped with sensor technology, the very first cycle may run longer to calibrate the sensor. Please keep in mind that selected options add time to the cycle. Also, cooler water temperatures cause the dishwasher to run longer while heating the water. You can try running the nearest hot water faucet until it gets hot just before starting the dishwasher. Also, be sure the water heater in the home is set to 120 degrees F for best performance.
A:AnswerI suggest you first check the filter to make sure it’s not clogged. Unlike some models of dishwashers this one does not have a larger food particle cutter which chops up and food left on dishes. I always make sure all food is rinsed off before I place the dish in the dishwasher. If the filter-drain is clear then I suggest you call Best Buy and schedule a service appointment.
A:AnswerYes. They should fit the standard rack configuration. Nonetheless, the top rack can be adjusted up or down by about an inch either way. I wouldn’t do the up/down adjustment every other day since I’m not 100% sure on the fixtures (it’s a click-in and pull-out situation), but it gives you options for something like a regular plate height.
A:AnswerYour right, this Whirlpool portable dishwasher does have shorter cords than the old one, and does have to sit in front of the sink the whole time, however it does have a little plastic dispenser in the back of the attachment that you can get drinking water out of while it is running.
Hose length 30". Electrical cord a little over 60".
A:AnswerI was told I could return it to Best Buy within 15 days if I wasn't happy with it.
There is a 1 year Manufacturer warranty, however, if you read what it doesn't cover, to me it is pretty worthless, and it is only valid in the country of purchase. They did send a extended service plan you can buy, but I don't know if it would be worth it.
A:AnswerI have no idea how many gallons of water it uses for a cycle. The answer to that should either be in the Specifications or Description of this item online at Best Buy under this Whirlpool Dishwasher. If you touch on the Specifications you should be able to find what your looking for and if not there Descriptions should be your next stop. If you can’t find an answer anyway else you should call and speak to an Appliance Expert employee. I have found them very helpful and most won’t give up until they get an answer.
A:AnswerNo. Cord and hoses are already attached. BUT the wheels are not attached, they are packed inside and must be attached when the machine is removed from the box. I got my delivery guy to pop the wheels on while I tipped the machine over. Also you may need to replace your faucet aerator with the adapter included with the machine. Just need a pair of pliers to change the aerator.
A:AnswerI can get 12 plates and 6 bowls in the bottom, however I think it depends on how you load the machine. The one nice thing about this machine, is that they give you extra space on the side that you can use for cookie sheets, baking pans, large weird shaped object, and they won't get in the way of the flywheel. KEEP YOUR OLD UTENSIL DRAWER IF YOU HAVE HAD A WHIRLPOOL! It is much larger and can hold more than the new utensil drawer. You will have to use the top rack for large utensils, because it doesn't have the door utensil rack that the old one had, which is a bummer.
A:AnswerI don't think so. You attach the faucet spout connector with the hoses and then turn the HOT water on. You may need to replace the faucet aerator with the faucet adapter that comes with the machine.
A:AnswerHi Chris, we can only advise you what the installation guide states. There are no specific instructions saying you can use a permanent hot water supply and drain.
A:AnswerNeither the delivery man nor a plumber was able to attach the dishwasher to make it a permanent dishwasher. I have to use it as convertible one which is not what I really wanted.
