“Can you get it WITHOUT an icemaker ? I'd rather use conventional ice cube trays and prefer it not to require being hooked up to a water source. We buy our drinking water and make ice with that and I'd rather have more room than an icemaker.”

I'm in the same boat and do the same as you; however, I did not hook up the water supply but the ice maker is so small that not only do I not see it, it doesn't interfere with anything in my freezer. And the ice cube tray comes in handy for storing my extra herbs!
