It's a normal frig. Of course it can be used as a secondary frig, unless the manufacturer has temperature limitations as would be in a garage.

Please try again later.Hi Nealdas,this refrigerator is intended for use in a location where the temperature ranges from a minimum of 55°F (13°C) to a maximum of 110°F (43°C) in order for it to operate most efficiently. As long as the temperature range is within those limits, it should be fine. We hope this helps!
