“Is the pedestal necessary? Our current stackable sits on the garage floor. Also, any chance of getting the washer door to open the opposite way? It's a bit cramped opening from the right. Thanks.”

I did not get a pedestal, and I don't miss it. However, my washer is inside a laundry room. My dryer door could be changed to open the opposite way, but my washer door could not.

With regard to the door, we had our door reversed from right-swinging to left-swing by the delivery Geek technician upon delivery. Wife is giving both machines a workout and we are happy we purchased from Best Buy.
