Best Buy will be able to determine whether your older model will work on a new one. You need to submit both old and new models. I just had to do that having purchased a new whirlpool washer with an older dryer on top.

Our stacking kit is a universal stacking kit but is only universal in the sense that any paired Washer and Dryer model can be stacked with it. Non-paired Washers and Dryers we do not recommend stacking together, as stacking could make them unsafe to operate in your home.
