Hello Sandman! There is no specific weight limit however, we would recommend following the manufactures instructions for the item that is being washed. Thank you for your inquiry on our Whirlpool appliances.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Dense items such as pillows, comforters, thick pile blankets shift during the wash cycle. Weighted items gravitate to one side and can throw the machine off balance during the spin cycle. I recommend deactivating the spin cycle to prevent this or simply refrain from overloading the machine with such items. The machine detects the wash load and adjusts accordingly. If over capacity I am certain the wash cycle will not engage, signal an alarm or error code. Otherwise you will know when the unit rocks violelently in which case it will shut down. Hope this helps.
