Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello JTjunior, The Specific Whirlpool Cabrio: WED7000DW TL ELEC DRYER. does NOT come with a steam option. I have noticed a lot of user manuals will have the steam option in the instructions. I have owned other Whirlpool Cabrios that have steam but the one that I just listed and recently bought does NOT have it. If it were to have it you could easily tell by opening up the dryer door and you will see a small circular area against the back wall of the dryer where steam would come out of. If you were to have this portal then you would need a "Y connector" hose attached from your washer to the dryer to provide your water supply for steam. Again, some Whirlpool Cabrios do and some don't. The specific model/serial number does NOT have a steam option. Hope this answers your question. ☺☻
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not quite sure what the difference is. You do hook up a hose from the water supply to the dryer so there is a water connection that goes to the dryer.
