“since this is a combo unit, what happens when the microwave oven breaks, do you have to replace the whole unit or can you just replace what broke.”

The combo unit I had prior to this one that was just installed a couple of months ago did 'break'. The handle on the microwave broke, but it still functioned and we could use it - actually we used it for a couple of years. The unit was almost 30 years old and both oven and microwave were functioning OK. They were just old and falling apart. Now with a newer unit, if something were to malfunction, I'm sure Best Buy would have a repair solution. Our old unit was so old, parts weren't even available. I love the new version!
