Use slide liter. Never had any issues. Slide does not track through the house.

Hello! Thank you for your questions. We do have an extended warranty that will add two more years to the original one year warranty. It can be purchaesd on our compnay website within the first year of ownership. As far as the lose stools. If kitty buries her waste, it should not cause a problem, if not you may need to use a damp cloth just on the inside of the globe to spot clean in between deep cleans that should be performed at least once every 3 months, deep clean steps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Am3-zpylNdw&list=PLVGSgrf6kgDNPYaulQB7wDvu9AJcmBQ5k&index=3&t=4s. All of the components will be protected in the base. The Litter -Robot also has different wait time settings you can chose to let the litter clumps set up a little longer befor a cycle.
