The pad has picked up my snoring a couple of times and I don't often snore. It shows a pause in your breathing. It does not pick up on tossing and turning, so the app will show no interruptions. It'll only register if you are actually off the pad. It does pick up my dog taking a nap in my spot. I did have a fitbit to register my sleeping habits. It didn't register my tossing and turning either. If I didn't physically get out of bed, it showed I was having a great night of sleep. Hope this helps.
