A:AnswerThank you for asking! According to Best Buy's preorder FAQ: "We do our best with every pre-order to ensure it’s delivered as close to release as possible by shipping it out at a level of service needed for it to get to you on release day. Depending on a number of factors, such as your proximity to one of our stores or distribution centers, pre-orders often ship out for different people at different times."
A:AnswerIts not as big as it looks. console preview videos are online. you may check some preview videos from influencers like Austin Avans, Jez Corden or Digital Foundry
A:AnswerSame happened to me. Had a pre order on 9:22. 10/4 it got cancelled but Best Buy blamed it on Microsoft when I called. Keep a close eye on your emails as I wouldn’t be too surprised if they either cancel or delay.
A:AnswerDue to record-breaking demand, Xbox Series X|S consoles may not currently be available. If you have not been able to pre-order, be sure to check back with Best Buy. We expect more consoles to be available November 10th.

A:Answercheck your order status. pre-orders work on pre-authorizations. It was likely them checking to see if you have the balance to even buy the thing. if best buy says it's canceled, call customer service, not ask a question on the xbox itself.
A:AnswerHi Nancy,
Unfortunately, the first wave of pre-orders is over, however, Microsoft has announced they will have additional consoles for purchase on launch day (November 10th). My suggestion would is to sign up for additional retailers availability wait list as these retailers may be allotted additional stock prior to launch day.
Additional Retailers:
Best Buy
Game Stop
Walmart
Amazon
Target
A:AnswerUnfortunately that was a ploy to cover the likely fact that they oversold pre -orders. I read in many places that retailers did not receive their allocations for XSX consoles from microsft until after pre orders sold out so Best Buy had to cancel a bunch of them to free up stock to have in-store on launch day. I called them because the same exact thing, payment issue....cancelled within hours...., happened to me. When I called they blamed Microsoft and said nothing could be done. Here’s an idea Best Buy......stagger your pre orders or do them in waves. Honor every pre order that successfully completed on your site and stagger shipment dates. At least we would know that we would get one without having to go in-store.
A:AnswerYou can use either option. No, you won't be double charge for anything. If you were to place and order you'd be charged only once when the item is processed, and shipped for day one delivery.
