Unfortunately, at least for the foreseeable future, the consoles will be online only, and the website has zero protection from bots buying out the stock. Best bet is to just bite the bullet and wait next year. Whatever you do though, don't play into the scalpers and buy one on resale for ridiculously high prices, let those guys rot in their hundreds of unsold consoles
