To answer your question I don't think bottlenecking would be a huge issue. My system has 16 gb of ddr3, an i7 2600, and a gtx 480 (which has recently been). When monitoring ram usage and stuff I've never actually used more than 8gb at a time so you should be fine. I'm going to be buying a 570 this Christmas for my system and I can let you know if you haven't already made a decision. The best part about gpus are you can always upgrade the rest of the system if you desire or it doesn't meet requirements
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will be OKAY with the FX570 upgrade. I would upgrade RAM also but the FX8350 should be fine with most modern game at 1080 REZ. Most issues are related to higher settings on games AA/AAA setups but if you run it so frames are above 35 or greater the FX 570 and your current processor will be fine. Yes an upgrade would be great but spending 850 or so for even me to get a few extra frames just doesn't add up. I use a AMD 965 and while not a huge gamer it works when I do.
