How long batteries last? null

my first set lasted almost 7 months and I use it quite a bit

a couple of weeks, or a couple of months. Depends. I have two of these. The batteries died in one, and then the lock completely died upon replacing the batteries. The second unit, bought at the same time as the first, has had decent battery until today. I replaced them and that lock died too, the same way! I would say the batteries and the lock last about the same amount of time before both need replacement.
