• The simple answer is yes. The unit supports ARC. However, the 'Output' HDMI jack is used to connect to the HDMI ARC jack from an ARC-enabled TV. There is an additional 'Input' HDMI jack that is not used when the TV supports ARC. The HDMI 'Input' is used along with an optical cable (for audio) with TV's that do not support ARC.
