Yes it can be wall mounted. Within the box there is a cardboard mounting template that has 2 spaced holes in it. Place the template on the wall where you want it and mark through the holes. Put in appropriate screws into the wall and then you can hang/mount the sound-bar from them. For me - I'm just going to put/lay this device within a cabinet and underneath our TV. Seems like this is the only 2.1 sound-bar available any more too. I .don't need anymore bells and whistles that come with a 5.1 or more system. I needed this device because I also want to use its output and connect it to a very high powered sub-woofer that I have. This Yamaha is the only one left that allows you to use your own subwoofer.
