“Have this sound bar which works fine except it will shut off on its own. So why does this happen and how to prevent it ? Other question why no manual with the sound bar ?”

Auto-off: From user manual CONFIGURATIONS Configuring various functions Setting the auto power standby function Enabling the auto power standby function prevents the unit from remaining on when not in use. When the auto power standby function is enabled, the unit automatically turns off in any of the following situations. No operations for 8 hours No audio input and no operations for 10 minutes This function is enabled by default. Turn off the unit. Touch and hold INPUT and then touch and hold POWER on the unit for at least five seconds. The auto power standby function is enabled or disabled. Once the indicator has shown the auto power standby function setting applied to the unit as follows, the unit will turn on. Please try again later.Check your connections on the sound bar to your tv Check your settings as well There’s manual that comes with the soundbar but there’s a YAS-109 manual on yamahas site I would return it though as that may be a manufacture defect Hope you get the issue resolved because this soundbar is amazing!
