A:AnswerThe Samsung 800 series will NOT find this receiver in its bluetooth settings. I am currently looking for a TV that does because I want to play the TV through my sound system.
A:AnswerWhen you say 'sound fields' I assume you are talking about sound processing/eq presets. Dont think it has any. (At least that I know of). Being that it is not a 'surround sound home theatre device'. It is a simple four channel amplifier/Bluetooth/receiver with four inputs, and 2 band controls. (Bass and treble). All in all though it is a great and affordable upgrade for a receiver replacement, being that the digitally patented Yamaha Natural Sound brings out a very clean and full tone all on its own without much adjustment. Not to mention the Bluetooth which is just about entertainment enough being that you can pair it to anything giving you a multitude of listening sources at your immediate command.
A:AnswerI am not an expert, but it sounds like you have a stereo plug and you are plugging it in to a mono adapter. I think you have to have the same type of plugs. If it works ok when you put it in half way, I assume you can only hear it on one side only.
A:AnswerYou can plug multiple speakers into an output as long as their ohm load is not too low, I use 2 dual 8" Celestion towers that are 80 watts a piece and it sounds great. I would not advise using more than 4 towers at once as it will put a strain on the system (even though 8 is possible using both A and B channels with 2 towers in series or parallel).
A:AnswerWe hooked up huge speakers to this receiver and it worked great! It blasts music from the basement throughout the whole house! I may pan speakers outdoors!
