I just purchased this Yamaha RX-V6A receiver. Is there away to make the back two speakers sound like the front two when playing music?

The back two are working but you have to put your ear next to the speaker to hear them.

If they have the same settings as older yamahas, look for 5 channel stereo setting using the program button on the remote

Yes, you can switch the DSP to All-Channel Stereo and it'll play stereo sound on all of your speakers. You can use the Left/Right program button on the remote to cycle through the programs, or you can connect to the web menu (http://IP-Address-Of-Receiver/Setup) and tweak it all from there (and even back up your settings!).
