Q: QuestionI recently purchased this receiver and am having a lot of problems with audio cutting out. Sometimes it’s 1/2 second every few seconds, then sometimes it’ll cut out for 10 seconds! The problem goes away if I play through the TV speakers.

• A:Answer OP Here - It actually ended up being a weird but with my new TV (Sony X900H) that needed to have an app installed with a hard reset. It's since been fixed. The receiver is great!

Q: QuestionMy current receiver I have front speakers A and B, for surround only A is used, but if I want to play in stereo for my music I can use front A, and B together so that all 4 front speakers crank, or I can choose A or B. Is this unit capable of doing this?

• A:Answer No, modern Receivers no longer implement a straight-forward A-B Speaker Function. However, most Receivers at this Price-Level implement some form of Zone2/ZoneB with Outputs for a set of Speakers. Whem properly configured, this will produce the A-B effect that you described. Additionally, Zone2 can be set to output a Totally Different Source than is concurrently Playing on the Main Speakers.

Q: QuestionI am looking at the Polk audio T series speakers will they pair up good with this receiver. Should I be concerned about the ohms? The receiver is 8 ohms and the speakers are 6 ohms. I’m new at building a surround sound.

Q: QuestionI have an old Yamaha amplifier/receiver (1989!) and it is connected to 4 pair of speakers in ceiling of 4 rooms. It also can switch to surround sound in TV room. Can this unit do the same number of speakers and surround sound also? Thank you

• A:Answer Yes this receiver can do multi room. You can have surround sound in one room and as long as you have impedance match volume controls are an impedance match speaker selector then it can also power a zone 2.
