QuestionEverywhere I look says that the RXV6A has 100 watts per channel. But at Best Buy 29621, the display sign that compares the Yamaha receivers says that it has 160 watts per channel and the RXV4 has 145 per channel. Anyone have an explanation?

- Answer This reciever is 145 watts/ch when using 5.2 ch's. Store ads are notoriously exaggerated and confusing and cannot be relied upon to be accurate.

QuestionI have just recently purchased Yamaha RX-V6A and i am facing problems as my Freespace subwoofer which is passive is not working in both subwoofer 1 and 2 terminals. Much appreciated if anyone can advise please … thanks in advance :)

QuestionCan I use Zone 2 to output sound to the transmitter that interfaces to my hearing aids? It's currently attached to my DirecTV box so I don't get streaming sound. TV sound goes to my current receiver. Would like the surround sound and hearing aids togethe

QuestionI am currently running 7.2.2 set up, front, centre, surround and 2 atmos and 2 subs. Question is, if i want to add another set of fronts, should i connect and external amp by using rca cables from the pre-out front terminal or the zone 2 terminal?

Questioni have 800W SPL150 klipsch sub, a set of F3s klipsch's and klipsch 825 floor speakers, my receiver shuts down from the massive draw they say my receiver can't handle, do i get an amp or a more powerful stereo ? will this one handle it ?

QuestionWhen you connect 2 subs, should the audio information display 0.2? Because mine still shows 0.1 although there’s 2 subs connected to the preout. Also the front lcd displays 1 “SW” only. Is this normal? Thanks!
