No, it does not affect sensitivity of the screen but it is very prone to developing air pockets under the screen protector which are just an unsightly annoyance. I have had mine replaced twice since initial installation. Each replacement was done by Best Buy technician so it is obviously a product design or material fault.

No the swiping and sensitivity of the screen works perfect however the protector leaves a gap or air under 3 of the 4 corners. I have used the squeegee several times to get the air our and still the air gaps appear and it looks like I have a round face of the watch in the center of the screen even though the face of the screen takes up the whole screen. It is just very anoying to look at. I am sending mine back because of it. I got it on sale.

I have the series 4, Nike Apple Watch the larger sizes screen. It functions as it did before the screen protector. The only ones I’ve ever had a lag with or sensitivity issue with are the soft gel/plastic skin that you can use. The glass ones seem to work great.

I can't speak to the old one (didn't have previous version of this particular item) but I don't notice an issue with mine. Disclosure, I have the Series 5 and I STILL find myself expecting the screen to respond when it is visible but not active (which has nothing to do with the cover).

Its worse since it always allows air under it I have not been able to use it because it hinder the screen so much. sadly, this is the worst screen protector I have purchased from zagg. I wondered if the hybrid glass would be better than the tempered glass and also it was cheaper so I gave it a try. its so flexible that it dosent even stay on, It always gets air under the edges. Also its always getting peeled of when I reach into my pockets so not pleased, ill stick to tempered glass.
