You have to activate it by being on the wireless network. Then that connection can be shared with others and they don’t have to be on the network to see them.

Zmodo has an app you download and connect your cameras to, from there you can see the cameras anywhere you go with the app in your phone.

You have to follow the instructions and download the app, I can see live videos through my phone even when we was out of the country!
There is a way you can save the records and share to your phone.

Typical the phone and the camera should be installed using the same WiFi. Once installed, you can access your camera from anywhere. You can also download and share your events. There’s an option to grant access to other devices but I’ve been very unsuccessful getting this setup.
